Video Game Documentary Reflection
We watched a documentary on the history of video games in class and i bought back a lot of memories from my younger childhood. I learned a lot about the start and idea of video games and how many of the big companies got their start. Atari being one of the bigger producers had many employees or partners that started their own companies such as Activision who make a lot of the best games now. Then learned about the battle between Sony and Microsoft and a little bit about the Wii, but the movie was made around the time that Nintendo released the game console. Now Microsoft and Sony have a Motion senor game for Xbox 360 which is the Kinect and for the PS3 the playstation move. there is still a heated battle with Prototypes of the Xbox 720 and the PS4, Microsoft is trying to release a console before Sony does but Sony has already said if they do beat their deadline they will drop the price of the PS3 because it is still winning in sales. Overall I learned a lot from the movie and kind of re-lived my childhood...GAME ON!!!
